- Distance: 69 kilometers from Kuah Jetty to Koh Lipe (Langkawi To Koh Lipe)
- Departs Langkawi from Kuah Jetty, Kuah Town.
- Departs Koh Lipe from Pattaya Beach, Bundhaya Speedboat & Immigration Checkpoint.
- There is no pier at Koh Lipe, you may be transferred between the beach and the ferry by local long tail boats. Already included in the ticket price.
- Thai Arrival Card available at the Tropical Charters check in counter, to be filled and submitted to border authorities upon Thailand at arrival.
- Thai Departure Card comes attached to the Arrival Card. Fill and save it to submit to Thai border authorities upon leaving Thailand.
- Departure times are according to local times. There is a one hour time difference between Malaysia (GMT +8) and Thailand (GMT +7).
- Passport or Border Pass required with a minimum validity of 6 months, with all necessary Visas (if required).
- Tickets sold cannot be refunded. We cannot compensate in case ferry cancel the trip or delayed from the scheduled time due to safety reason. In case of ferry tour operator tickets sold out, we reserve the right to compensate alternate jetty departure to Telaga Terminal, otherwise you may ask for ticket refund (with small fee) if the other jetty departure is not suitable for you.
- Booking Confirmation Voucher is required for check in.
- Check in procedure starts 90 mins before departure at Kuah Jetty & 2 hours before departure at Bundhaya Speedboat. Check in counter closes 45 mins before departure. Required to repurchase the ticket next departure after you have missed check in time
- Services subject to Terms & Conditions of Carriage set by the tour operator.
- For Malaysian - No VISA required to Thailand. Please check your status whether you're being blacklisted by Malaysian immigration before departure.
- Any change or cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances which is beyond the company's control, the company will not be responsible for any extra expenses incurred.

How many jetty from Langkawi to Koh Lipe?
There are 2 tour operators operate the daily ferry during end of Oct to early of June every year, but departure/ arrival at different loaction.
Do you need passport or Visa to enter Koh Lipe?
Yes, you need the passport or border pass (for Malaysian) to enter Koh Lipe as this consider cross border. Malaysians do not require Visa to enter Thailand, Visa is required for certain nationality to enter Thailand/ Malaysia. There are facilties of VOA (Visa on arrival) for certain nationality in Thailand. This is to prepare the visa upfront to save all the procedures.
Is Langkawi to Koh Lipe ferry open all year round?
No, ferry service is only open during high season, end of oct to early of june every year but might be slight different on the schedule from year to year.
Can I take the ferry to others andaman islands in Thailand?
If you are enter to Thailand from Koh Lipe, this is starting point to Andaman islands such as Koh Buloan, Koh Kradan, Koh Mook, Koh Ngai, Lanta, Krabi, Phi Phi, Phuket. However, there is no direct from Langkawi to andaman islands, you need to change to speed boat when you are in Koh Lipe. If there is afternoon speed boat then you can take afternoon speed boat to the islands, else you need to wait for next day.
What jetty to depart in Langkawi?
It really depends, if you are coming from Langkawi airport/ Cenang area, then strongly recommend to use Telaga terminal (telaga habour) as this is nearer to Langkawi airport/ cenang area. Also nearest distance from Langkawi to Koh Lipe (about 1:15hour ferry ride). But if you are from Kuala Perlis/ Kuala Kedah/ Penang/ Kuah town then kuah jetty will be better option, it will take about 1:30 hour ferry ride.
